Week 31

Week 31

Apologies for the delay in posting I will explain more in Week 32. Week 31 was an exciting week in an effort to combat the fatigue as mentioned before I joined/started an exercise program design specifically for Cancer patients. This week I had my first session. The goal is to push me to the upper limit of what I can do so that I feel like I exercised but no go overboard.

The session was fantastic, it truly allowed my mind to focus on something else which has always been a part of why I loved exercising so much, it is/was a mental escape from everything going and this was no exception. For short period, everything melted away it was freeing. I look forward to more sessions. The day after was tough I definitely felt like I exercised, but still it felt wonderful to have been ABLE to do it.

Another plus for the week was the addition of a new anti-nausea medicine, this addition to my other scheduled medications has made a huge difference in the nausea that I fight every day, with this in conjunction with my standard daily regimen of nausea medicines I have been able to dramatically reduce the nausea I feel on a day to day basis, they have also put me on Ritalin the combination of the new anti-nausea medications an Ritalin to help fight fatigue has given me a chance to finally feel like I can take control of the day it has allowed me to be more focused an feel productive in my days this is a feeling I have not felt in over nine-months now an is a welcome feeling.

We continue to look for reasons that would explain the FootDrop but are left with very lithe answers, we completed a lower back MRI Scan and a Hip MRI scan but neither has given us much clue as to why the FootDrop is happening. We will keep looking.
